Virtual Gallery Walkthrough
Rhino 3D was used to create the entire 3D architectural design, encompassing everything from the outdoor patio to the indoor pool and arched doors. Once the layout was finalized, I created a technical drawing showcasing the plot plan, as well as front, top, and right views of the building. This technical drawing provides precise dimensions.
After designing in Rhino 3D, I imported each FBX file into Blender. This allowed me to UV map every layer and create specific materials for the gallery. In Blender, I UV mapped all my acrylic paintings onto the canvas placeholders.
Finally, I imported the FBX files and materials into Unreal Engine, where I finalized all the textures, including those for the walls, floor, and pool water. In Unreal Engine, I integrated the sandy landscape, foliage, cacti, and modern chairs onto the patio. The sky and shadows were also added to showcase sunlight streaming through the circular skylights. Ultimately, I converted the gallery into a virtual reality design using Unreal Engine, enabling users to walk through the space and experience the artwork and architecture in VR.
