Happy Flower Candle is a 3D rendering of a candle design inspired by the artwork of Felicia Chiao. This product encompasses the candle itself, featuring a flower-shaped lid, bringing the design to life. Additionally, it includes custom packaging designed specifically for the candle and lid as a set, along with a technical drawing illustrating the product’s dimensions and features. The Happy Flower Candle, along with its unique packaging, is a 3D rendering created using Rhino 8 software and Blender. After completing the clay-sculpted rendering of the candle, I crafted replicas of the candle base and flower lid from air-dried clay and acrylic paint. The packaging is constructed from foam board and construction paper, scaled similarly according to the technical drawings. This blend of soft, pastel digital design and handcrafted sculpture showcases two different approaches to designing the same object.
